The Delia Arts Foundation is part of the JMI Global Network of NGOs empowering youth through music.
In Palestine, musicians have limited means to develop their talents
Even the best musicians face unimaginable struggles when pursuing a career.
The main obstacles are:
➟ Lack of Infrastructure
There is very little infrastructure to support professional musicians – few studios, low-quality recordings, minimal performance opportunities, a lack of educational infrastructure. While plenty of funding is often funneled into schools for children in the form of music education, there is no emphasis on creating sustainable professional opportunities for the most promising talents.
➟ Lack of Visibility
In order to have a career as a musician, you need an audience. A large audience. Many of the musicians we work with have very few opportunities to perform locally, so reaching an international audience is vital.

the skills and opportunities necessary to pursue a sustainable music career.
We are already building basic infrastructure and creating training programs. Now, we are ready for an audience.
Delia Sessions
Get to know the musicians of Palestine through our YouTube Concert Series, the Delia Sessions!
These live performances are filmed in small and intimate venues, giving viewers a front-row seat.
The concept is inspired by successful series of similar formats, such as the Tiny Desk Concerts produced by NPR.
The Delia Sessions share music to build connections between Palestine and a new global audience.
Delia Arts Center in Gaza, Palestine
We listened to the needs of the artists living in Gaza and we delivered a cultural center.
They now have a recording studio, rehearsal & performance spaces, and a computer lab to hone their music production skills.
Most importantly, musicians now have a place where they can come together as a community.
