While the Delia Arts Foundation’s primary mission is to empower communities through music and arts, we respond when urgent humanitarian needs arise. Our projects provide essential support to women, children, and families in vulnerable situations, ensuring communities in crisis receive immediate help while staying rooted in the foundation’s creative and musical spirit.
One key initiative of Delia’s humanitarian response is the Kitchen Containers project in Cairo, developed in partnership with The Egyptian Food Bank. These mobile kitchens provide fresh, nutritious meals to families facing hardship, reaching those who might otherwise go without food. Beyond simply serving meals, the Kitchen Containers act as a hub for community connection, offering a safe and welcoming space where people can gather, share, and support one another.
When urgent needs arise, Delia organizes targeted online campaigns to mobilize support for affected communities. These efforts provide essential resources to those in immediate danger while engaging our global network of supporters. In addition, Delia provides essential supplies and temporary shelters to communities affected by conflict or displacement. While responding to crises is not the foundation’s primary focus, we step in where we can, ensuring immediate needs are met while maintaining the creativity, engagement, and musical essence that define our work.
Even when addressing urgent needs, Delia remains committed to long-term community empowerment. By combining relief efforts with cultural engagement and artistic connection, we preserve dignity, build solidarity, and support resilience, showing that music and creativity can play a vital role in helping communities recover and thrive.
